Hailing from The Steel City Of Sheffield, The Home Of Gatecrasher, Phil's early influences included, Depeche Mode, Human League, OMD, Cabaret Voltaire, Killing Joke, The Sisters Of Mercy to name but a few. After hearing the Euro-mix on Danny Rampling's Love Groove Dancy Party in the 90's, Phil fell in love with Trance. Hearing artists such as Cosmosis, Doof, and Astral Projection inspired him to focus on creating hypnotic, driving,  emotionally charged Music. He invested in the tools required, and had several tracks released under the alias 'Sulaco'. Phil was a regular at Gatecrasher, as well as nights in Sheffield such as Headcharge, and Planet Zogg. 

With Family and work commitments, Phil took a long break from music production, until his 2023 Release, the aptly named "Catalyst, which he produced with help from Trance Mega Producers, Metta and Glyde, who saw potential in Phil's ideas. 

Phil continued creating Trance Music, and released several Tracks which were supported by Trance giants such as "Solarstone" and "Manuel Le Saux" , releasing his emotionally charged epic track "Purgatory" on One Forty Rise, as well as his uplifting anthem "Syntropy" on Reason II Rise Uplift.

Phil's aim is to create music that is unique but also has a place in any Trance DJ set. He continually strives to improve his production and musical skills, and deliver high quality Trance Music in what is a very competitive industry.
